What is doug philips?

Doug Phillips is an American attorney, author, and speaker who was born on August 31, 1965. He is best known as the founder and former leader of the Vision Forum Ministries, a Christian organization focused on promoting patriarchy and homeschooling. Phillips has also authored several books on Christian theology, including "Theology of the Family" and "Reforming Holiness: A Biblical Critique of the Keswick Movement."

In 2013, Phillips resigned from Vision Forum after admitting to having an inappropriate relationship with a woman who was not his wife. The scandal led to the dissolution of the ministry and damaged Phillips' reputation in the Christian community.

Since then, Phillips has largely stayed out of the public eye and has reportedly focused on his law practice. He has also spoken at a few conferences and has occasionally written articles for Christian publications. Despite the scandal, Phillips still has a following among some conservative Christians who appreciate his teachings on family values and biblical manhood.
